EVDOG is officially closing the doors on this project.

Thank you to everyone who supported EVDOG in the quest to update the Eureka Valley Dog Park in the Castro neighborhood of San Francisco. Many thanks to Lee Stickles and TS Studios for their tireless work on envisioning and creating park renderings for community reviews, and thanks to everyone who came to the EVDOG town halls and participated in the discussions. Soon this website will go dark.

In the face of SFRPD requiring our small non profit to provide insurance for the entire project from start to finish, the board of EVDOG determined that it wasnt possible for our grass roots neighborhood-based organization to carry that respobsinbilty. We hope that the SF Parks and Recreation department will make the long overdue improvements to the park to ensure the safety, health and well being of park users and the neighborhood, and bring Eureka Valley Dog Play Area up to thge standards exemplified at the many other improved DPAs in our city.
